Goulburn Mulwaree Council invites you to join in the fun and excitement at the Official Opening of the Riverside Park Pump Track this Saturday 16, September at 11am.
The morning will feature a formal opening ceremony, a Council supplied free BBQ and announcements of the colouring-in competition winners.
Goulburn Mulwaree Council Mayor Peter Walker said “Council is absolutely thrilled to be opening yet another incredible community asset that will bring joy to people of all ages for many years ahead. It’s a testament to our commitment to creating spaces that foster community connection and enjoyment.”
Minister for Planning and Public Spaces Paul Scully said the NSW Government has invested $455,200 to design and deliver the Riverside Park Pump Track as part of the Places to Play Program.
“The NSW Government is committed to providing quality public open space for the community to come together, have fun and enjoy their favourite activities outdoors,” Mr Scully said.
Cameron Murphy MLC, who will be in attendance at the track, said the Riverside Pump Track has been designed so that people of all ages and abilities can participate – whether they are riding a BMX or mountain bike, skateboard, scooter or rollerblades.”
The Riverside Pump Track was funded by the NSW Government through the Places to Play Program in association with Goulburn Mulwaree Council.
