Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a convenience store in Railway Estate last night, November 24.
Initial investigations indicate at approximately 9pm, a man attended the Railway Avenue store armed with what appeared to be a rock.
He assaulted a female attendant before stealing a quantity of cash and leaving the scene.
A 25-year-old woman sustained non-life threatening facial injuries as a result of the incident.
Investigations are underway. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
