Fremantle Detectives are seeking information regarding an assault that occurred on Rottnest Island on Saturday 23 February 2019.
Around 7.30pm, two men were standing near the stage in the outdoor area when an unknown man in the crowd struck one of the men to the face, causing him to fall to the fall.
The 34-year-old victim received a laceration to his eye and a fractured eye socket.
The man who struck the victim is described as 28 to 30 years old, fair skinned, approximately 178cms tall, with a medium build, brown hair in a comb-over style. He was wearing a light blue t-shirt and black jeans.
There were numerous people in the area at the time of the assault and detectives would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident.
