- St Patrick’s Community Support Centre to deliver new Booraka Danjoo Coordinated Outreach Services in Perth’s southern suburbs

The Cook Labor Government is reinforcing its support for Western Australians experiencing rough sleeping, awarding a five-year contract to St Patrick’s Community Support Centre to deliver coordinated outreach services in Perth’s southern suburbs.
Forming part of the Booraka Danjoo service model, St Pat’s services will include engaging with people sleeping rough in Perth’s southern corridor, assessing their needs and connecting them to appropriate support, accommodation, and housing options.
St Pat’s joins Karlup Aboriginal Corporation, i24s Aboriginal Corporation, and Nyoongar Outreach Services, which last month were awarded contracts to deliver services to the north-east, north-west, and central corridors of Perth respectively and have already begun service delivery.
The establishment of Booraka Danjoo Coordinated Outreach Services is part of the Cook Labor Government’s increased investment in homelessness services, delivering an additional $10.4 million to expand metropolitan homelessness assertive outreach services to provide support for rough sleepers in the Perth Metropolitan area.
St Pat’s will commence service delivery from October 2026.
As stated by Homelessness Minister Matthew Swinbourn:
“Western Australians experiencing rough sleeping deserve services that meet them where they are at, connect them to supports, and support pathways to more stable accommodation and housing, which is precisely what the Booraka Danjoo service model will deliver.
“St Pat’s has a track record of delivering effective, evidence-based support to people experiencing homelessness and I am sure they will continue to do great work here.
“As part of our 10-Year Strategy on Homelessness, the Cook Labor Government vowed to support safe and inclusive communities, and invest in targeted service models that make meaningful differences to Western Australians doing it tough, and that is what we will continue to do.”
