Sal Kimber heads to Music in Gardens

Sal Kimber is heading to Music in the Gardens on Sunday 15 October from 1pm – 3pm.

Music in the Gardens is a series of free outdoor concerts hosted by AlburyCity in the spectacular Albury Botanic Gardens. On the third Sunday of March, April, May, September, October and November, the gardens are transformed into an outdoor amphitheatre where residents can enjoy top entertainment from Australian and international touring artists while relaxing on the beautifully landscaped lawns.

Described by Rolling Stone as ‘Australiana Alt Country at its finest’, Sal’s authentic and warm stage presence and storytelling, along with the captivating musicianship of her close-knit band has seen the five-piece win over audiences all over Australia.

With over eight years of consistent regional and urban touring, countless festivals and three studio albums behind them, Sal and her band create soulful, playful and powerful live shows that inspire both the tapping of toes and the tugging of heartstrings.

Born and bred in the mountain valleys of Victoria, Kimber’s songwriting is stitched with tales of rivers, wild horses, flood, fire and the strength and vulnerability of the human spirit.

A range of food and drink options will be available to purchase on the day, so BYO some chairs or a picnic rug and head on down to the gardens from 12pm ready for the performance at 1pm.
