Localised rainfall is pooling in some low-lying areas in the lower Macleay, which may impact properties, particularly in Smithtown and Gladstone areas.
There will be sandbags available for collection next to the Smithtown boat ramp from mid-morning today.
Residents are asked to closely monitor water levels near their properties and to act accordingly.
The pooling water is from locallised rain and is not a result of flooding from the river.
