With dramatic, unrivalled views over Sugarloaf Bay, and set against the beautiful bushland of Myall Lakes National Park, the three-bedroom cottage offers a unique coastal escape for a family holiday or a romantic getaway for couples.

National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) Area Manager Steve Smith said the cottage is now available for bookings, just in time for the October school holidays.

“The picturesque Davies Cottage was built in the 1950s by a local fishing family and offers dramatic, unrivalled views over Sugarloaf Bay.

“Set against the beautiful bushland of Myall Lakes National Park, the three-bedroom cottage offers a unique coastal escape for a family holiday or a romantic getaway for couples.

“Perched on the rocky headland at the eastern end of Seal Rocks village, guests can spend time exploring the natural beauty and tourism offerings of the Mid North Coast region or simply sit back and relax in one of the most beautiful locations on the NSW coast.

“Revenue from visitors staying at the cottage will be re-invested by NPWS in maintaining the cottage and management of Myall Lakes National Park to support conservation and public use,” said Mr Smith.

Recent refurbishment works have included services upgrades, complete internal refurbishment, repairs and extension to the deck, new windows and roof replacement with quality new fittings and furnishings throughout.

The project was funded through NSW Treasury’s three-year NPWS Short Stay Accommodation Program.

“With the school holidays coming up, we’re very excited to have this beautiful new accommodation offering for visitors to Seal Rocks and Myall Lakes National Park.
