Making sure there is a steady pipeline of projects and works is one way this Government is making the Territory the Comeback Capital.

Supporting this commitment, the Civil Works procurement plan for the next quarter has been released, outlining to industry the tenders available during this period.

Sealing of our roads, road safety upgrades and transport infrastructure is the main focus of this quarter’s works, to assist local businesses in planning for future works.

The Civil Works procurement plan outlines future projects until February 2022, and include:

Sealing of new truck bays along the Plenty Highway;

Upgrades to Belyuen Airstrip;Upgrades to the Tanami Road;Upgrades to the Sandover Highway;Darwin and Alice Springs bus stop upgrades;Upgrades to the Buchanan highway;Upgrades to the Lajamanu and Borroloola Aerodromes; andSealing and safety barrier upgrades to the Barkly Highway.

The Civil Works procurement plan outlines a total of 88 Tier 3, 4 and 5 projects available for tender.

An investment in strategic infrastructure and a steady pipeline of projects will continue to support the construction and civil industries and provide economic growth to the Territory.
