An extensive police search is underway for prison escapee Graham John Enniss, 38.
Significant police resources, including the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, are currently searching for Enniss in the Risdon Vale area.
People in the Risdon Vale/Geilston Bay areas are advised to make sure their vehicles and properties are secure. Members of the public are urged not to approach Enniss.
Enniss is wearing dark coloured trackpants, a dark green jumper and is described as 180cm of solid build and around 80 kg.
Enniss has a distinctive tattoo across his neck saying “Thug” and is believed to be clean shaven.
