Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly woman reported missing from Newington.
Songho Ka, aged 83 was last seen at a home on Owens Avenue, about 7am today (Monday 25 December 2024.
When she failed to return and could not be located, officers from Auburn Police Aurea Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
A search is now underway with the assistance of PolAir with concerns held for Songho’s welfare due to her age and limited English.
Songho is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160cm tall, of medium build, and with orange greying hair.
She was last seen wearing a grey long sleeve shirt, black pants, a rainbow-coloured cap and uses a walking stick.
