Police have now arrested a second 18-year-old man in relation to the alleged serious assault of a 60-year-old man near Heyington Railway Station in Toorak on Saturday afternoon.
Police arrested the 18-year-old near Chadstone Road, Malvern East about 3.45pm.
Investigators had already arrested a 20-year-old man this afternoon in relation to the incident.
Both men are currently in custody and assisting police with their enquiries.
