Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 40-year-old man in relation to the death of man in the Melbourne CBD last weekend.
The man has been charged with one count of murder.
He will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court shortly.
The charges come after a public appeal by police on Wednesday as part of their investigation into the death on a 46-year-old Carlton man following an affray on King Street on 10 October.
The 40-year-old was arrested yesterday in Carlton.
A 43-year-old Melbourne woman has already been charged with murder in relation to the matter and a 42-year-old Melbourne man remains in hospital under police guard.
