Secure Your Territory Tourism Voucher Tonight

NT Government

4 October 2021

Territorians and tourism businesses will be counting down the hours with the fourth round of Territory Tourism Vouchers set to launch at 8pm tonight.

The Territory Labor Government’s $5 million program is a win for Territorians planning their next holiday whether it be in the Top End, Central Australia, Barkly region or Kakadu.

There are a wide range of bookable Territory Tourism products to choose from via the NT’s visitor information websites including Tourism Top End here, the Katherine Visitor Centre here or Tourism Central Australia here.

Once Territorians receive their $200 voucher they will have two weeks to book their tourism experience of choice which must be completed by January 31 next year.

Vouchers can be used for multiple experiences but only if they are booked in one transaction.

This is a perfect opportunity for Territorians to explore far flung tourism gems with a $200 bonus incentive for those who travel more than 400 kilometres in a one-way trip for their experience.

More than 320 Territory businesses have benefitted from the Territory Tourism Voucher scheme during the previous three rounds

Quotes from the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality Natasha Fyles:

“The Territory Labor Government brought back the Territory Tourism Vouchers because we know the program works and is a lifeline for tourism operators affected by the pandemic.

“For every $200 voucher issued during the last round we know that an average of $389.19 was spent in local businesses.

“The Christmas holidays are fast approaching and there is an abundance of amazing tourism attractions waiting to be discovered.”
