Over the last week officers within the Serious and Organised Crime Division executed various search warrants in the Perth metropolitan area.
The search warrants targeted Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs and their associates, and resulted in the seizure of a large amount of drugs, weapons, stolen property and cash.
On Tuesday 20 August 2019, Organised Crime Squad officers executed a search warrant at a residential property in Alkimos.
It will be alleged that as a result of the search the following items were seized:
• Approximately 20 kilograms of Methylamphetamine
• Approximately 5 kilograms of Heroin
• Approximately 3.5 grams each of Methylamphetamine, Cocaine and MDMA and 10 grams of Cannabis
• Approximately $1.2 million cash
• A rifle, firearm and crossbow.
A 47-year-old man and 47-year-old woman, both from Quinns Rocks, have been charged with the following offences:
• Possessed a trafficable quantity of Methylamphetamine with Intent to Sell or Supply
• Possession of Prohibited Drugs with Intent to Sell or Supply (Heroin)
• Laundering Property/money from Proceeds of Major Offence
Both were refused bail and appeared in the Joondalup Magistrates Court on Wednesday 21 August 2019, and are due to reappear in the same court on Wednesday 30 October 2019.
Inquiries are ongoing and further charges may be preferred at a later date.

Further, Gang Crime Squad detectives have charged five people in relation to a series of search warrants targeting Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs in the Perth metropolitan area last week.
The search warrants were executed in Leederville, Joondanna, Jandakot, Gnangara, Landsdale and Morley.
Amongst the items seized were:
• An industrialised sized pill press,
• 85 grams of Cocaine
• 690 grams of MDMA powder
• 84 grams of MDMA
• 132 grams of Fantasy
• Vials of anabolic steroids
• 15 hydroponically grown Cannabis plants
Various firearms were also seized including;
• A semi-automatic shot gun
• .22 rifle
• M1 7.62mm rife
• Four semi-automatic pistols
• Two revolvers
• More than 550 rounds of ammunition
• A paintball gun
Also seized was an off-road motorcycle, more than $20,000 worth of gold, and more than $180,000 in cash.
It will be alleged one of the firearms was stolen from Swanbourne in 2014 and the gold was stolen during a burglary in Midland in 2018.

A 25-year-old man from Leederville has been charged with:
• Possess unlicensed firearm
• Possession of Prohibited Drugs with Intent to Sell or Supply (Cocaine)
• Possession of a Prohibited Drug With Intent to Sell or Supply (MDMA)
He is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Friday 30 August 2019.
A 23-year-old man from Joondanna has been charged with:
• Possession of Prohibited Drugs with Intent to Sell or Supply (Cocaine)
• Possession of a Prohibited Drug With Intent to Sell or Supply (MDMA)
• 1x Possess Prohibited Drug (Cocaine)
He is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Monday 2 September 2019.
A 32-year-old man from Jandakot has been charged with:
• 2 x Possessed any drug paraphernalia in or on which there was a prohibited drug or plant
• Possession of Prohibited Drugs with Intent to Sell or Supply (Cocaine)
• Possess Firearm with Circumstances of Aggravation
• Possession of Prohibited Drugs with Intent to Sell or Supply (Cannabis)
• Unlicensed Person Possess Firearm/Ammunition
• 2 x Possessed a prohibited drug
• Possessed a controlled weapon
• Possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property
• Possession of a Prohibited Drug with Intent to Sell or Supply (MDMA)
• Possession of certain substances or things
• Receiving
• Possessed a prohibited weapon
• 8 x Unlicensed person came into possession of three or more firearms
• Unlicensed Person Possess Firearm/Ammunition
• Cultivate a prohibited plant with intent to sell or supply
• Possession of a Prohibited Drug with Intent to Sell or Supply (Methylamphetamine)
He was refused bail and appeared in the Fremantle Magistrates court on Thursday 22 August 2019, and is due to reappear in the same court on Tuesday 17 September 2019.
A 39-year-old man from Marangaroo will be summonsed in relation to drug offences at a later date.
A 20-year-old woman received a drug diversion notice for possession offences.
A 48-year-old man from Morley has been charged with:
• 1 x Unlawful Possession of Stolen or Unlawfully Obtained Property
He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Monday 23 September 2019
