Serious assaults southern suburbs, South Australia

A man was admitted to hospital last night after suffering serious head and leg injuries after allegedly being assaulted at a Seaford Rise address. A second man is in a critical condition after allegedly being assaulted at a Park Holme address last night.

Just after 6pm on Friday 23 October, police were called to Clearwater Crescent at Seaford Rise after a man reported he was assaulted. The victim, a 25-year-old man from Seaford Rise, received non-life threatening head and leg injuries as a result of the assault and he was taken to Flinders Medical Centre where he is being treated.

About an hour and a half later, Southern District Detectives were called to Finders Medical Centre after a man was admitted with serious head injuries and lacerations to his arms.

The 33-year-old victim from Hackham remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Major Crime Detectives investigating the assault attended an address in Park Holme where the offence is alleged to have taken place.
