Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash in Sunnybank Hills, that has left one woman with critical injuries and a house on the verge of collapse.
Early information indicates the alleged stolen car was being driven on Hellawell Road at about 11.30pm when the vehicle left the roadway, through the intersection with Gowan Road and collided with a house.
Four males got out of the crashed car and fled the scene.
The woman from the crashed vehicle was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries.
No one was in the house at the time of the crash.
Investigators urge anyone with information about the crash, knowledge about the occupants of the car or dash-cam footage from the area to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
