Serious pedestrian incident in Forest Glen, QLD

A male pedestrian has sustained serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Forest Glen last night.

Preliminary investigations indicate the 29-year-old man was walking along an eastbound lane on Maroochydore Road just before 11pm when he was struck.

He suffered significant injuries and was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.

The 19-year-old female driver of the vehicle and three passengers were not physically injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and urging anyway with dashcam vision who was driving along Maroochydore Road between 10.45pm and 11pm to contact police immediately.
