Seven Hills man arrested after break and enters in North West Sydney

A man has been charged following a string of break and enter offences in Sydney’s North West throughout August.

Between Monday 12 August 2019 and Saturday 24 August 2019, a number of businesses including chemists, restaurants and supermarkets in Blacktown, Quakers Hill and Cumberland PAC, have been targeted with break and enters.

An investigation was commenced by the Blacktown Proactive Team, with the assistance of officers from Blacktown Police Area Command and the Quakers Hill Proactive Team.

Following inquires, at 4.15pm on Thursday (29 August 2019), police arrested a 26-year-old man at a service station in Huntingwood.

The man, from Seven Hills, was taken to Blacktown Police Station and charged with four counts of break and enter dwelling with intent to steal and four counts of break and enter – steal value less than $60,000.

The 26-year-old was refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court today (Friday 30 August 2019).
