We have helped retailers enhance their shopfronts, by providing free professional window cleaning to support business activation.
Council was granted $300,000 through the COVID Safe Outdoor Activation Fund from the Victorian Government to support local businesses.
This fund has supported a range of business activation initiatives, including beautifying streetscapes, providing free resources for business, and the development of new outdoor dining locations.
For the past few months, we visited retailers to provide free professional window cleaning across 8 retail centres:
- Ferntree Gully Village
- Rowville Lakes Shopping Centre
- Scoresby Shopping Village
- Knoxfield Shopping Village
- Mountain Gate Shopping Centre
- Alchester Village Shopping Centre
- Wantirna Mall Shopping Centre
- Boronia shopping areas
Professional window cleaning has helped businesses enhance their shopfront presentation, attract more customers, and uplift the local streetscape.
The window cleaning initiative was completed last week.
