Shots fired into Westmead home, NSW

Police are appealing for information after shots were fired into a home in Sydney’s west overnight.

About 9.45pm (Tuesday 9 June 2020), police were called to a home on Bridge Road, Westmead, following reports shots had been fired.

Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene at the home, which will be forensically examined.

There were five people home at the time; however, there are no reports of any injuries.

No arrests have been made and inquiries continue.

As part of ongoing inquiries, police are urging anyone with information about a vehicle, described only as a black SUV, seen on Toohey Road around the time of the incident or anyone with dash cam vision to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
