Rockingham Detectives have charged a man after an incident in Warnbro on Thursday, 19 September 2019.
It will be alleged police responded to a report of the man behaving erratically and was barricaded in a house in Monterey Crescent. The man made threats and additional police resources were deployed to the scene, including Tactical Response Group officers.
A police negotiator spoke to the man and just after 12.30 pm the man emerged from the home and was taken into custody. He was taken to hospital for a medical assessment.
A 55-year-old Warnbro man has been charged with Acts creating false apprehension as to existence of threats or danger.
He is due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court today, 20 September 2019.
