Following more than 2 years of disruption to festivals and events caused by COVID the Slim Dusty Foundation has taken the difficult decision to cancel the Slim Dusty Festival in Kempsey scheduled for September 2022.
Dr. David Kirkpatrick from the Slim Dusty Foundation said, “We are again extremely disappointed that the festival has to be cancelled however as the Slim Dusty Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation, we are not in a position to move forward this year.”
The Foundation will provide patrons and stakeholders with updates through media channels about any plans for the event in 2023.
