Sadly, SA Health can confirm a 62-year-old woman from metropolitan Adelaide passed away this morning from COVID-19 in the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
The woman acquired COVID-19 from the Ruby Princess cruise ship.
Her passing is the second death in South Australia from COVID-19.
Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman.
