There have been 3,450 new cases of COVID-19 reported in South Australia today. There are currently 33,921 active cases in South Australia.
Sadly, SA Health can confirm one man in his 70s and one man in his 80s, who tested positive for COVID-19 passed away in metropolitan Adelaide.
There are 220 people with COVID-19 in hospital, including 26 people in ICU and six requiring a ventilator.
Of those hospitalised, 120 people are fully vaccinated, 30 are either unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, and 70 have an unknown vaccination status.

Yesterday, 17,280 people received a PCR test in South Australia, a 6.6% percent decrease on the previous 24 hours.
Vaccination update
Currently 93.4% of eligible South Australians aged 12+ have received their first dose of the vaccine, 89.6% have received their second dose and there were 9,625 booster shots given yesterday bring the total booster shots to 338,633.
