South Lake aggravated burglary

Fremantle Detectives are appealing for information from the public regarding an aggravated burglary in South Lake early this morning, 6 January 2021.

At about 1:30am a 90 year old man and woman woke to find three males in the front room of their Labyrinth Way home.

During the encounter, the woman was struck to the face and received bruising to her face, foot, arms and hands. The males threw items from inside the home at the male victim, one of which struck him to the left side of his head causing a laceration.

The males fled the house on foot shortly after.

St John Ambulance attended the home and conveyed the victims to Fiona Stanley Hospital where they are currently undergoing treatment of their injuries.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone with information regarding this incident or who might have seen a group of males wearing hooded jumpers in the Bibra Lake/South Lake area.
