Speakers Urge Security Council to Enforce Demand to End Israel’s Settlement Activities in Occupied Palestinian Land 

The Security Council met today to discuss the implementation of resolution 2334 (2016) which demands Israel immediately and completely cease all settlement activities in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

“I reiterate that the establishment by Israel of settlements in the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem, has no legal validity and constitutes a flagrant violation of international law. In this respect.”
