Bairnsdale Highway Patrol intercepted a motorcyclist speeding near Eagle Point yesterday afternoon.
The black 2006 Suzuki GSXR 600 motorcycle was intercepted about 6pm on McTaggarts Road travelling at an alleged speed of 199km/h in a 100km/h zone.
The rider, a 22-year-old Bairnsdale man, is expected to be charged on summons with speed dangerous and other traffic matters.
The motorcycle was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1175.
