St Kilda home invasion

Officers from Vanguard Taskforce are investigating an aggravated home invasion which occurred in St Kilda last month.

Officers have been told three men attended a premises in Martin Street about 9.10pm on Wednesday 13 May.

They entered the residence through the unlocked front door and forced the three occupants into an upstairs bathroom.

The offenders then spent at least 30 minutes searching the premises and stole a phone, credit cards, electronic items and cash.

They left the residence and stole a white van belonging to one of the victim’s.

It was later found dumped a short distance from the address.

The first offender is perceived to be Caucasian, in his 20-30s with dark hair and a thin build.

The second offender is perceived to be of Pacific Islander or Maori appearance, in his 20-30s with dark hair and a stocky build.

The third offender is perceived to be Caucasian, aged in his 20s and with red hair and a thin build.

Investigators have released CCTV and three computer generated images of three men that they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
