Statement on flooding in Western Australia impacting the ARTC Network

ARTC

The ARTC rail corridor between Kalgoorlie and Rawlinna in Western Australia remains closed due to significant flooding.

With water levels continuing to recede, and considerable progress with recovery efforts, we are anticipating reopening the line on Easter Saturday.

This remains contingent on favourable weather conditions, water levels dropping at the rates we have been observing, and mobilisation of works in what are still quite challenging conditions.

ARTC has a significant workforce in the area with senior engineers, specialist consultants and our maintenance crews on the ground, working around the clock.

We continue to work with our customers and Western Australian authorities.
