The Finocchiaro CLP Government acknowledges the statement today by the receivers of Healthscope on the progress of a new ownership model that includes Darwin Private Hospital.
“I have spoken with the receivers McGrathNicol this morning and we remain engaged with all other parties regarding these arrangements,” Minister for Health Steve Edgington said.
“The CLP Government has again made clear that we remain committed to the restoration of private maternity services as part of any new ownership arrangement of Darwin Private Hospital.
“We look forward to further discussions with all relevant entities as these processes continue.”
