Detectives are appealing for help from the public as investigations continue into two public place shootings and vehicle bombings in Nowra last year.
Just before 9pm on Wednesday 3 July 2019, two homemade improvised explosive devices were thrown onto the windscreens of two vehicles parked in the driveway of a Nowra home.
Both vehicles sustained minor damage to the front windscreen and bonnet area.
Officers from South Coast Police District and the Rescue and Bomb Disposal Unit attended and commenced inquiries.
Shortly after 2am on Saturday 2 November 2019, a shot was fired into a home on Anatares Close, East Nowra.
Police have been told three men were home at the time of the alleged shooting, with a shotgun round shattering glass above where one of the men was lying.
Officers attached to South Coast Police District attended and seized a number of items for forensic examination.
About 3am on Saturday 2 November 2019, a man arrived at a property on Peniston Avenue, Nowra, and found his house had been damaged by shotgun pellets.
Police believe two shots were fired into the man’s house between 12.30am and 2am on Saturday 2 November 2019.
Strike Force Keele was established by detectives from South Coast Police District to investigate the circumstances surrounding the three incidents, which are believed to be linked.
As investigations continue, detectives are appealing for help from the public to locate a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, with a solid build, brown hair, brown eyes and neck tattoos.
Police believe the three incidents are targeted and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
