A pedestrian has died in hospital following a collision in Sunshine West on 21 June.
The male pedestrian was hit by a vehicle travelling along Glengala Road just after 8pm.
An 85-year-old Sunshine man was taken to hospital with life-threatening-injuries but has sadly died in hospital.
The driver of the vehicle, a 48-year-old Sunshine woman, stopped at the scene to assist and has been interviewed and released pending further enquiries.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated by Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives.
