The new program, a successor to the Doctoral Program for World-leading Innovative & Smart Education for Super Smart Society (WISE-SSS), offers the opportunity to explore convergence science by integrating a variety of different fields, including science and engineering, and the medical, dental, and nursing sciences.
Key points of Graduate Major in Super Smart Society
- The Graduate Major in Super Smart Society will formally offer institutional degree accreditation, unlike WISE-SSS.
- The program will be specifically designed for doctoral students.
- The program will deliver research and education in close collaboration with society through the SSS Promotion Consortium, as with WISE-SSS. By leveraging fields beyond traditional disciplines and working closely with industry, the program will offer hands-on research through interdisciplinary collaboration and socially engaged education.
