Police have charged a 19-year-old man over an assault in Claremont yesterday.
About 5:30pm police were called to the Claremont address after a 17-year-old male was reportedly assaulted.
The youth was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The man was arrested at the scene and charged with common assault.
Both parties were known to each other and other community members were not at risk.
