Teenager dies after being shot in Miller

An investigation is underway after a shooting in Sydney’s west overnight.

Just after 11pm yesterday (Saturday 15 February 2020), emergency services were called to Cabramatta Avenue, Miller, following reports of a shooting.

Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command attended and found a male, aged 16, with a gunshot wound to his chest.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attempted to revive the teenager, however he died at the scene.

Police have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.

The teenager is yet to be formally identified.
