Greater Geelong is currently experiencing high winds, which means we’ve had to close the Geelong Botanic Gardens for the remainder of today, Wednesday 27 August.
The Victoria State Emergency Service advises that you should:
- Keep informed through VicEmergency and Bureau of Meteorology.
- Stay away from trees, drains, gutters, creeks and waterways.
- Check that any loose items such as outdoor settings and umbrellas are secured.
