Acting Labor Leader Anita Dow has welcomed the release of the terms of reference for the independent review into workplace harassment and practices and procedures in the State Parliament.
Ms Dow said Labor had consulted with the government on the review which was vitally important to ensure all Tasmanians who work in the Parliament feel safe at work.
“We need to have the best, safest environment and now is the right time to do everything we can to ensure that is created and maintained for all workers,” Ms Dow said.
“Labor welcomed the opportunity to be involved and will continue to work with all parties on this review going forward.”
