Warrants were executed by detectives from the Echo Taskforce and North West Region Crime Team, with support from the Australian Federal Police National Anti-Gangs Squad, in Richmond, Docklands and Coburg early this morning.

A 25-year-old Richmond man was charged with drugs and proceeds of crime offences, as well as committing indictable offence whilst on bail.

He will face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.

A 29-year-old Coburg man was charged with drug and weapons offences, and bailed to appear at Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court in June, 2021.

A 21-year-old Richmond woman is expected to be charged on summons with failing to provide a PIN code under section 465AAA of the Crimes Act.

Investigators also seized a large quantity of cash, cannabis, steroids and a baton from the properties.

The arrests follow a number of firearms incidents across the northern suburbs earlier this year, including a matter where shots were fired into a pastry shop in Reservoir on 12 July.
