    This upgrade will deliver welcome improvements at Halls Creek District High School, which opened in 1954, providing more areas for staff to meet with parents and external agencies, and a modern entrance to the school.

    A total of $1.18 million will be invested in toilet upgrades at the following schools:

    • Bridgetown High School;
    • Dampier Primary School;
    • Halidon Primary School;
    • Mullaloo Heights Primary School;

    These latest upgrades are part of the McGowan Government’s ongoing investment to modernise public school facilities across the State.

    As stated by Education and Training Minister Sue Ellery:

    “The McGowan Government is committed to improving public school infrastructure and ensuring staff and students are teaching and learning in the best possible facilities.

    “I’m delighted that a dozen public schools will receive much-needed upgrades to their facilities that will benefit their communities now and in years to come.

    “The upgrades to the administration building at Halls Creek District High School will no doubt receive a warm welcome from staff, students and parents, who will have more space for meetings, one-on-one discussions and other activities to support the school and its students in comfortable surroundings.”
