Two people have been charged and drugs and cash totalling $114,000 were seized following a search of two Burnie properties by Western Drug Investigation Services yesterday.
Located during the searches were over 7 kilograms of cannabis with the approximate street value of $64,000 along with over $50,000 cash.
A 41 year old Burnie man was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a controlled substance and dealing with proceeds of crime.
A 35 year old woman was also arrested and charged with drug related offences.
Both were bailed to appear in the Burnie Magistrates Court on 29 September.
