A crime scene has been established at the scene of a shooting in Blackheath early this morning where two men have suffered gunshot wounds.
Emergency services were called to a home on Connaught Road, just before 4.30am (Friday 13 December 2019), following reports of possible shots fired.
Officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command attended and found two men suffering gunshot wounds.
Both men have been treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and are being taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
A crime scene remains in place while investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
