Two in court after man stabbed at Lane Cove, NSW

Two men are due in court today charged after an alleged affray at Lane Cove.

Emergency services were called to a unit complex on the Pacific Highway about 7.10pm (Sunday 19 January 2020), and found a 37-year-old man with a chest wound.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital, where he’s reported to be in a serious condition.

Two men were arrested nearby and were taken to North Sydney Police Station; they have now been charged with affray.

A 23-year-old man, from Willoughby, and a 22-year-old man, from Lane Cove North, were refused bail to appear in Hornsby Local Court today (Monday 20 January 2020).

Inquiries are continuing into how the older man came to be injured.
