Two men have been arrested and another two are under police guard in hospital following a brawl in Sydney’s CBD overnight.
About 12.30am (Monday 1 April 2019), emergency services were called to George Street, near Park Street, Sydney, following reports of a brawl.
Police have been told two men – aged 21 and 23 – who crossed paths with another two men – aged 22 and 25 – became involved in an argument, resulting in a physical altercation.
Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command, with assistance from Kings Cross Police Area Command attended and commenced an investigation.
Three of the men were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before two were taken to St Vincent’s Hospital under police guard for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The other two men were arrested at the scene and taken to Day Street Police Station.
