Two to face charges over Meadows cannabis, South Australia

Two people are now facing charges over a cannabis crop found at a Meadows property in January.

On Thursday 23 January, police searched a Meadows property and allegedly located cannabis plants and dried cannabis packaged in boxes.

A 53-year-old Meadows man was arrested and charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of cannabis and other drug offences. He was bailed to appear in the Mount Barker Magistrates Court on 25 March.

Following further investigation, a 56-year-old Meadows woman was reported on Friday 6 March for trafficking in a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug, cultivating cannabis and possessing prescribed equipment.

She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
