NT Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the double fatal crash yesterday.
A 32-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man were ejected during the single vehicle rollover crash.
A 32-year-old man survived the crash and remains in hospital.
The female victim and the male survivor are from interstate.
Major Crash detectives are investigating whether any of the ‘Fatal Five’ were factors in the crash.
Detective Senior Sergeant Brendan Lindner said, “We are appealing for any witnesses who were travelling on the Stuart Highway north of Tennant Creek prior to 6.00am yesterday, who saw a blue Mitsubishi Triton utility with interstate registration to contact police.
“Any witnesses who stopped at the scene to assist the survivor, who are yet to speak to police, are also urged to contact police on 131 444.”
