Gold Coast Detectives have charged a second man with murder following further investigations into a homicide that occurred at Hope Island last week.
It is alleged a 21-year-old man died after sustaining a single stab wound at a shopping centre carpark around 2.20pm on March 11.
Investigators have now also charged a 24-year-old man from Hope Island with murder and robbery.
He is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court today, March 20.
A 23-year-old Redbank Plains man has previously been charged with murder and appeared in Southport Magistrates Court on March 12 where he was remanded in custody.
