Police can now name the two people who died following a helicopter crash north of Kaikoura yesterday.
They were 60-year-old Andrew Hamish Davidson, and 39-year-old Lin Chen, both of Ohoka.
This was an incredible tragedy and Police is working to support the family and friends of the deceased.
The family of the deceased have asked for privacy at this time.
