Police are currently searching the Tambo Upper area after a vehicle was discovered in the river off Great Alpine Road.
The white Toyota Land cruiser ute was located just after 2pm partially submerged next to the bridge in Tambo River.
The driver’s side door was open but no one has been located at this stage.
Police have attended the address registered to the car but have not been able to locate the owner at this stage.
