Violin virtuoso returns home for inspiring concert

Violin virtuoso Hayden Wiseman returns home for an inspiring concert at Griffith Regional Theatre.

Born and raised in Griffith, Hayden is a passionate concert violinist. Ten years after releasing his first album “Music to Soothe the Soul” he returns to his hometown for an inspiring and uplifting concert at Griffith Regional Theatre on Sunday 1 September at 3pm.

At only 27 years old, Hayden is already an experienced and well-travelled performer, with over 150 concerts under his belt throughout Australia and New Zealand. He has performed in concert halls, churches and Aged Care homes. Locals may remember him busking on Banna Avenue as a teenager.

Hayden’s aim is to bring beautiful, inspiring music to people all over the world. His desire is not just to entertain, but to reach people deep in their soul and change lives for the better through the gift of music, along with the powerful stories and testimonies he shares alongside the music.

Hayden has been playing violin since age 12, and by the age of 15 realised his call to the music ministry.

Joining Hayden in concert will be a trio of passionate and brilliant young musicians: pianist Emily Thompson (who is studying Music at the Sydney Conservatorium), brother Scott on French Horn and uncle, 21 year old Stephen Aveling-Rowe, on Cello. Emily is 18 years of age, and Scott is only 15, but both have been playing a variety of instruments, with great distinction, since the age of 5, ‘to the glory of God’.

Manager of Griffith Regional Theatre Raina Savage said, “This will be a delightful concert for lovers of beautiful music – focusing on sacred and classical music, performed by four exceptional young musicians.”

The concert will promote the launch of Hayden’s third CD. Music includes classical show pieces for piano and violin – The Four Seasons, Winter by Vivaldi, Hungarian Dance by Brahms along with his speciality of Traditional and Contemporary worship songs in classical/folk style.

Hayden will be signing copies of his new CD after the concert.

This is Hayden’s only concert in the local area and should not be missed.
