Exciting news! Bendigo and Heathcote have been shortlisted in finalist categories in the Top Tourism Town Awards.
Bendigo has been shortlisted in the ‘regional town’ category and Heathcote has been shortlisted in the ‘small regional town’ category, so now it’s time to get voting.
Acting Manager Tourism and Major Events Jemma Docherty said it was great news for the Greater Bendigo region to be represented twice in the competition.
“This is the first year the awards have been run and we are excited to be recognised not once but twice as a place that delivers amazing visitor experiences,” Ms Docherty said.
“We have a really passionate tourism industry, including attractions, accommodation and hospitality providers that are proud to offer something for people of all ages and interests.
